When can you start using products in your bath after stitches? Like bubbles and such? I was told but I can't remember if it was 4 or 6 weeks.

I think its 6 weeks but the midwife told me to use a non fragranced soap like simple soap or something but tbh I never im only putting stuff in now ill be 6 weeks pp on Monday! Xx

I'm using baby soap atm but we don't have a shower, just a bath so I'm washing my hair separately which is such a pain but I don't wanna use hair products in my bath until it's safe.

I only have a bath too. I just used a small amount of shower gel and washed my hair as normal. Didnt cause any irritation or anything as I wasnt putting it directly on my stitches xx

I went back to using bubble bath at 3-4 weeks and it's not affected my stitches, I was told to use whatever I usually did to wash and just rinse the area after x

I used that badedas stuff - can't spell it, I used it straight away, didn't sting or anything and deffo helped to cleanse!

When I had my c sec I used sanex 0 in my bath and for the shower. I think it's shower gel but has no fragrance or nasties in it and I found it didn't irritate my stitches either.
