Do people use these? My mum insisted that I should use one and i ignored her! Then Ella got nappy rash so when this cleared up i started using vaseline but in the last couple of days we have had a few leaky nappies - any relationship between the two?

paris always had nappy rash and i just used to use boots own nappy cream :D

cornflour is good for nappy rash too

vasaline will rub off on a nappy i think and make it less obsorbent ?

Thanks g3m, that was what I thought, just wondered if anyone else bothers with a barrier cream or not.

Lydia used to have AWFUL nappy rash and the only thing that stopped it was using vaseline - reapplying it with every bum change.

With Alex I only use vaseline if he's looking redder than usual - then after a couple of days when he's looking ok again I stop using it.

I use sudacrem then zinc & castor oil (barrier cream) when ellie has nappy rash :)

I don't use anything! Jacob has had nappy rash once and I used Bepantham cream and it was brill, cleared it up in two days :D

I have tried quite a few different creams and I found Bapanthen to be the most effective.
