LOL... take note here Urchin.... no burglar bars, no electric fence and only softy Labrador!! Your biggest enemy here is puffadder snakes. Spotted a few cape cobras, but they don't like our kids.... too noisy!! Regular intruder is "mountain tortoise".
Anyway - shit happens everywhere nowadays. There is no heaven on earth. At least you'll have good weather if you buy my house, Urchin!!!

I have good news!!!

We received an offer today for the asking price!! Woo-hoo
The contract has been signed. If all goes well, we'll be with DH in Cape Town on 1st July!!!!!

Won't be buying again soon - will rent and see how we feel. Prices have gone silly here and my body has little equity to offer!!
