Bank question!

If you put cash into your account is it available immediately? Like if I put some in tomorrow, would it be there on Monday?

It should be, if it's cash it should show immediatly x

If you put cash in today it should be available tomorrow but I know sometimes it differs between banks, I'm with natwest and everytime I've put cash in it's been available the next day (or if I put it in on a saturday it's available on a Monday) x

I'm with Natwest and mine normally clears the same day if i put cash in xx

Thanks guys! I did think it should go in straight away, I mean it's y money and it's cash so it doesn't have to clear or anything!

I think cash clears straight away but cheque's take 3-5 days! Thats why i hate putting cheque's in lol

Transfer or over the counter?

We tranfer between different bank (alliance/abbey/barclays/hsbc) and it always goes through within minutes to an hour unless it's over a certain amount.

Oh over the counter is immediate ...I assume if you bank with HSBS your going to HSBC with cash? If so yes it's available funds straight away x
