Bad nosebleed

I woke up at 3am with a really bad nosebleed that was pretty full on for about 5 minutes. Not just a trickle, but there was quite a lot of blood and it rushed out really quickly. Do you think this is anything to worry about or is it just one of those pregnancy things?
I have white pillow cases and it went all over them and my bed sheets
OH jumped straight out of bed to get me a towel/tissues and then stripped the bed to soak in water afterwards, all at 3am, bless him!

I'm not sure hun! I'm sure its nothing to worry about though, I know nosebleeds was one of the early pregnancy signs, but I no your not in early pregnancy lol... I've never had a nosebleed ever so wouldn't even know what to do if I did have one!!! x

I haven't had a full on nosebleed, only when I've wiped my nose and noticed blood on tissue, and that was only last week and continued off and on for a couple of days. I've read that nosebleeds are common during pregnancy but not sure of the severity. It might put your mind at ease by giving your doc or MW a wee call just to double check, but I'm sure its nothing to worry about. x

Dont think its anything to worry about. I've been having them on and off the whole Pregnancy. I even have a bloody nose today although its only when i wipe it. Its just another Pregnancy thing..

I'd say the same as the others, it's one of those common pregnancy things but it sounds like your's was pretty full on so I'd ring the MW and just get her to confirm it's nothing to worry about xxx

Agree to maybe ask a MW or GP....I just get little blood on tissue when blowing but not a full blown nose bleed like that.
