Bad Day Turned Good

Wow! My OH has been unusually supportive today.

When I woke up depressed, all I had to do was mention feeling low and he jumped up and started cleaning the whole house! He did the laundry too and got my spoiled 12 year old to do the dishes for once.

Then OH tackled the big project, which is undergoing preparation for winter. He started treating the window that is going to be sealed over and scrubbed the whole bathroom!

Gosh he really is a great guy sometimes. Well, at times when I am at my limit. Most days I do everything around the house - and it kills me when I over do the 'nesting' thing.

Well now that I know OH and daughter are perfectly capable of cleaning, there will be a lot more help for me around the house

right what have you been feeding him coz i wana feed my other half some, i cud use an extra pair of hands at the moment

Jamie has days where he realises how much pain im in with the spd and really goes all out to help me, then other days i can be crying at him and being very open about how much im struggling and he will say "awww" rather unsympatheticly and watch formula one instead

A bit of consistency would be good but i guess we shouldnt complain!

I know what you mean about taking the nesting thing to far too. I will start off by just polishing and hoovering, then end up with taking curtains down, washing windows, sorting out cupboards etc, its amazing how much filth and rubbish you acumilate without noticing!

Right then ship him over .. alan is really good with the cleaning but working shifts is taking its toll and i try to tidy but i do half the house and im shattered

Yes thats the thing. OH is back to normal self today. Meaning I get no attention and no help! Good thing I acknowledged his kindness yesterday, cuz it aint gonna happen again for a long time, if ever!
