Backache....

Hi ladies,

Firstly i would just like to say hello to everyone as this is my first time to this site.

I have just found out i am pregnant (5 weeks) and having experienced 4 miscarriages prior to this pregnancy every niggle and pain is always a cause for concern.

My question i have is - all of my pregnancies past and present i have experienced lower backache and as i have never had a successful pregnancy i always associate this with miscarrying. Have any of you experienced lower back pain in early pregnancy and have continued to full term?

Thanks for the response its good to know that it can be normal. It is just a waiting game now until the first scan to confirm all is going well, we are just keeping our fingers crossed.
