I'm currently waiting to be induced at 40+2 and just found out baby moved into a back to back position. Has anyone ever given birth to a baby back to back without needing too much intervention at this stage. I have no idea what to expect finding this our now.

I'm nearly 38 weeks and baby is back to back too
All I can say is from what I have read a lot of labours go perfectly smooth with back to back babies
Some do occasionally need intervention and help to come out but it's a case of wait and see how things progress hun
Some babies can still turn when labour starts so its not to say baby won't

I hear back to back babies labour is rougher in the sense that its a lot more back pain and more uncomfortable but then what labour isn't lol
but wishing you all the best hun sure all will be just fine x

I just gave birth to my second and he was back to back right up until the very end and he flipped himself around for the birth. By the very end I mean he flipped just before I was ready to push! Contractions help to turn the baby into the right position. Don't worry too much. My first was back to back and whilst I needed intervention with him it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought! Good luck and enjoy your new arrival :) xx

Thanks ladies, needed bit of reassurance. I'm not expecting that I'll be able to have my pool birth either now x
