She's got bronchiolitis nothing they can do just have to ride it out he said it could be up to two weeks prob y her weight is dropping.. He said to express as well as bf so I know what she's getting.. Got the hospital app for her but have to reschedule it coz of the school run..

I need a decent pump!! My manual one is crap and so is the one my sister gave me both tommee tippee.. Please tell me the best one to use!!!

Also had my smear test results I've got cin1 so need to get checked again in August to see if I need treatment

Hope lo is ok n, ad for the smear that happened to me and six months later i was given the all clear, i was told its pretty common after pregnancy due to all the hormone changes etc etc. Hope ur ok xx

Thanks everyone! Yeah it's abnormal cells I had treatment for cin3 before so it's worrying but hopefully things will get back to normal soon!
At my sisters with the pump and she says it's missing a part but it's really good so I might try and get a spare part somewhere.. What's a medela swing??

I also have the medela swing electric pump. No complaints here. Bit pricey but worth it. Ihad an Avent manual one but took forever to express I found.xx

Don't know if it's any use to you but I've got a medela one here that I've never used but was used by SIL before me that you can have if you want? I've no use for it x

Just got a spare part for my sisters one and it's still rubbish

Do I pump between feeds or after?? Or before??

I've bought a medela bottle (£14.99 ) so she doesn't get used to a bottle as her problem is being lazy already!!

nothing just postage? Like I said, I've no use for it and it was given to me for free so I couldn't charge someone for something I was given for nothing x

My Dr told me not to have a smear test while I was still bf as it often gives misleading positive cin1 results so good chance it could probably just be that hun.

Poor Lily with bronchitis, Jax was so poorly with it. He hardly ate all all - only had around 14-18oz in 24 hours. Took him about 3 weeks to be better from the beginning of the illness.

Just tarted the pumps again I got just under an oz.. They don't seem strong enough! I remember with Jaycee my advent one nearly ripped my nipple off it was so strong that's just what I need!! Tmi but when I squeeze it still squirts so surely that means there is still some left??!! I've tried hand expressing into a bottle but it just goes everywhere but the bottle lmao!! The electric one is just loud and hardly does anything and the manual one barely sucks at all useless!!!

The nurse knew I just had baby and bf I wonder why she didn't mention it?? Hopefully that's all it is thanks for that info

So glad you at least have answers although sorry to hear shes poorly. Positive once she is over that the weight will start piling on. As your lo sleeps well at night you could express before you go to bed. You won't get much at first ax your body not used to producing much then but it will soon increase. J also express after morning feed as again I am not doing much night feeding so can usually get quite a bit then. X

I'be just remembered I have 3 Medela haberman bottles with teats and lids if you want them? They are old, I bought them for my first when I was changing from bf to ff and he wouldn't take a normal bottle, but in perfect condition as hardly used. I assume they'll fit a Medela pump?
