Does anyone know anything that can help ease back ache? I dont kniw if its because of my oversized bump but i have constant back ache and its reeeeeeeally painful :-(

Its not even in the same place in my back - it shifts from the bottom of my spine to the top left and back.

My OH was massaging it for me but now i cant lay on my front anymore and sitting up straight while he does it is very uncomfortable.

Any ideas? xx

Ermmm bath and lots of them! Also going on all fours for a wee bit takes weight off your back! Apart from that hubby rubbing it in evening is about it x x x

yeah ive been having a bath every day - thats the only time it doesnt hurt when im in the bath x

It might be worse cause you are feeling a bit fluey Cherelle - my back is killing me right now, along with every other part of my body! Guess the fact that you are on your feet at work all day really doesn't help either....I feel for you! xx

yeah i didnt think of that - could be related to my flu too. Im seeing midwife tomorrow so ill ask her then. Ive been told i can have more frequent breaks at work too when i need them so maybe i should sit down every couple of hours at work to relive it a it. thanks x

I rang my midwife about my back a few weeks ago (it was dreadful, couldn't move for a week!) and she refferred me to a physio class at my local antenatal unit. They just teach you exercises, let you try out the big exercise ball things, give you a bump band if necessary and also they can refer you to a specialist antenatal physiotherapist if you need it.

I got referred to the specialist and she showed me a few more really simple exerises (tht you can do even if you are in a bit of pain) and it's helped loads :D Try ringing your GP/midwife/antenatal unit.. they can probably help :D xx
