My son is 8 weeks old and is refusing to take a feed from his dad.

He has been formula fed since day one. He's had feeding issues on and off, fussing on the bottle, not having a full feed and being sick after feeds. He was being this way with both OH and I. Last week he started on reflux medication and he's improved massively with me. He will now wolf down a full five ounces with no fuss.

However he won't take a bottle from OH. He'll either simply not drink it or it will descend into the fussing. Yet he will then sit with me and happily guzzle the lot. OH is doing everything as I would, including his feeding position.

I'm just finding it difficult not being able to share the load, don't know how bf ladies do it!!

Any ideas or suggestions?!

My son has also been formula fed from birth. My son never used to take a bottle from anyone but me if he could see or hear me but was absolutely fine if I was out of earshot or sight. That may help if you haven't tried it already.

My LO has also started doing this. I didn't think this was possible but my mum said that I was the same. I don't have a solution as I'm always in ear shot...maybe I need to leave the room for him to take a bottle from his Dad instead! x
