I'm overdue and fed up. I have tried everything to encourage this little one out. I waited a long time to conceive him, and now I've waited so long to meet him. I'm booked in to be induced next week but am dying to go naturally as I'd love a water birth.

There's no point to this post. I just wanted a rant.

I want a waterbirth but like you I'll be so impatient lol

Awwww I can understand your frustration - we tried for 2 years for this little one and if I go over I know I'll get impatient and fed up! Have you been relaxing loads, reading some good books, having you time? Hope next time I see a thread off you its a labour thread babe xxxxx

Ohh hun, I'm so sorry. I really wanted us to go together! Go into labour tonight, ok??

Thanks bunny. Yes I've had loads of 'me' time and not been stressed at all. I'm so ready for him, he's just too comfy! I hope you don't go overdue too!

So you should be sorry kumber!! ;) there will only be 8 days between us. But I highly doubt anything will happen tonight!

I'm already climbing the walls and I'm only two days overdue so can only imagine how fed up you are!

I was also gutted on Monday to find out if they put you on drip you can't do a water birth. It is literally the only thing I am sure I want in my birth plan!

Where I am I can't have a water birth with any induction - drop or pessary. Ugh. I found out I was pregnant 37+5 weeks ago. Feels like a lifetime!

It'll all be worth the wait in the end but I feel over being pregnant now at 28 weeks so I have complete sympathy. Could be any day though just keep relaxing and good luck. :-)

What's your due date! I was so fed up past my due date but come 41 weeks exactly my waters went. Don't give up hope x

Aww feel for you hun it's horrible waiting the last two weeks before baby comes is such a drag. I hope I go around 37/38 weeks as I'm fed up with being massive already

Aragh I feel your pain - am only 2 days overdue but I was convinced I was going to go a week or two early so I feel like I'm really overdue. Also really want a water birth which means midwife led unit but can only do that if not induced - I know there is still plenty of time but I just don't feel like anything is going to happen soon. I feel like Iv been pregnant forever - found out start of December and then my due date got out back a couple of weeks too so feel like it's been going on for so long. So frustrating and getting so bored - I hate wasting days and I feel like every day im just trying to get through to bed time as quickly as possible. Fingers crossed you don't have much longer to wait x

Have you tried inserting evening primrose capsules? I asked a midwife the other night at Aquanatal and she's says it's ok once 40w, pierce the end and insert up to 4 she advised x

Purple candy I haven't tried that one, will go and get some today, thank you.

It seems like 4am is my new routine wake up time. My back cant stand being in bed longer than that... Hurry up baby!!

My back's ok but my ribs are killing I feel like they are really bruised - lying in bed I'm like a turtle rolled on their back it's the most unflattering sight. Have you had a sweep yet ml? I had one on Monday - did nothing but will have another at next MW appt next week. I'm half tempted to go to the midwife drop in at the children's centre tomorrow and see if she will do another - Iv never been to the drop in before so not sure if they would do one there or not - any ideas? Am doing some gardening this morning in the hope that being on all fours/squatting might have some impact - the phrase clutching at straws springs to mind x

Hi becky, no my midwife won't do a sweep in clinic, only at home. So that's booked for Tuesday so only 3 days before induction! I hope your gardening helps! X
