I am sending myself loopy - my LO was 5lb 10oz full term and I am under a consultant now to monitor this bubs weight - first scan on Monday. I am soooo much bigger this time around - Im so scared this abby is going to be massive. Im only 5ft 2 and quite petite naturally. Can some people post experiances/their lo's weight compared to byump size etc! ahhhhhhhhh xx

I was absolutely huge and was expecting a 10lb plus for a first baby. I had her a week early and she was only 7lbs 9oz. I had to have growth scans every 2 weeks for the final 8 weeks, that's how big I was so don't worry, the measurements they give you aren't an exact science x

Im 5ft 5 and wasnt that big had to have growth scans as was measuring four weeks behind my last growth scan at 37 weeks estimated LO would be 6 to 7lb she was born at 40+4 weighing 8lb 1oz!

This was me at 38 weeks. x

My first was 5lb at 37 weeks! Had a few growth scans with this 1 and its slightly above average! Scan yesterday said 6lb 11oz already :/ im quite scared too lol I need this baby evicting NOW!

Im 4ft 11 and had a massive bump measuring 2 weeks ahead all the way through. Even when the midwives felt it was all baby and not much water however i had a 7lb2oz baby at 39 weeks x

My first was born at almost 35 week's weighing 3lb 4oz so really small for gestation. When the measured my bump during that pregnancy I was always measuring 2 weeks ahead. This time round I had regular growth scans from 20 weeks. I was told that the baby would be 9 - 10lb if I made it to full term. My ds was born on his due date weighing 7lb 4oz. I am really sceptical about weight estimations. The only way of knowing is to weigh baby once they arrive! x

I do now that they can be very wrong as my LO was 5lb 10 at 39 plus 2 but at 36 they told me 7.5lb then! very out! BUt I am so much bigger this time - its still worrying me xxxxxxxxxx

Full term bump and they induced me due to H not growing anymore after numerous scans weekly, they estimated her to be 5lbs, and then told me she didn't have enough fluid around her and was open to infection. She was born at 39+1 weighed a healthy 6lbs 7oz!

Lol Daniph i may have stayed slim during pregnancy but since having a baby my metabolism is most deffo not the same! I can no longer divulge in takeaways and get away with it!

I was so envious of all these women with amazing bumps! I still am! I never had people approach me to ask me questions about baby and due date etc! I never looked pregnant! Damn it, I wanted attention! I love big bumps and get so jealous! I suppose you can't win can you lol x

Thank you! She's a teeny baby too lol but we were expecting that cos I was measuring a few weeks behind, had a small bump the whole way through and I was only 6lbs 7 when I was born. Can't believe you're so far on already that's totally flew in! Xxxx

Here is my bump the day before I went into labour I think at 39+5



I looked like Mr Greedy. Haha

I was measuring spot on though I think. 39cm at last appointment.

Baby was born at 40+1 and weighed 9lbs 2oz.

I am fairly tall though at 5'9

I was measuring a week smaller on fundal height. Every midwife I seen referred to my 'good size baby'
And even in hospital the told me to expect a big baby 9lbs ish... He was 7 12lb xxx

Here's a 7lbs bump at 5ft9....

About 26 hours before birth but I was huge! Had the worlds allocation of waters they were like a tidal wave when they broke
