Charlotte really likes her swing and will be alert on it for a while but then often fall asleep. How long is ok to leave her asleep for? SHe always wakes and is grumpy if i move her but i never leave her on it for long. Just wondered what was ok?

I would have thought she's fine to sleep in the swing for a while, the only problem I can see is the angle - but it's similar to a car seat and there's no problem with them being in a car seat for up to 2 hours at a time.

Isaac used to love a kip in his swing. My mum used to tell me to turn it off swinging though incase it churned the milk in his tummy and made him sick but I just used to switch it to low so it was only gently swinging and I'd make sure his head was supported so he didnt have a stiff neck when he woke up.
