baby sounding congested at night

my little man at night sounds like he has a lot of phlegm. i feed him and then put him down after winding and he grunts and groans and then gurgles and seems to drool out a bit of phlegm.
then when he breaths while getting himself over to sleep he sounds very congested when breathing.
any ideas? would it be a cold?

i was gonna post bout this 2day! my lil man is 6 weeks old and he still sound congested! ive tried keeping the window open a little bit and putting another blanket under the matress to raise his head a bit but this doesnt seem to work!!!! sorry i cant help but just thought id let u know ure not the only one with this problem!! xx

My HV suggested cuddlesin a warm steamy room, or putting some vicks on my chest at bedtime so that the smell is in the air but not too near Sprog. I've also put yellow pages under the top legs of the cot in the past, as Sprog was very congested when he was borb.
