Finally after 8 hours of labour little miss Sophie Louise is here!!
She's beautiful! 11.06pm weighing 7 11 and a half and born on 8th August.... 1 day before her due date here she is :-D Our stunning little princess at home in her Moses basket for the hirst time sleeping away
Thanks ladies. Went as well as it could do. Did it all on gas and air which I thought I'd never do. Was high as a kite from taking too much. Kept having to be asked to move back on the couch as I was rolling off and the midwife and my partner had problems keeping me on. Partner then put a beanbag there that worked a little till I decided on the floor was just fine.
Took ages to go to the loo before getting in the pool. What seems like mins later I decided to push. Then body took over for real and out she come. Not going to lie lot did hurt bit damn she's worth it
Got all my wishes though..... Birthing pool and me being the only person to touch my baby in the water until I asked my partner to feel too. Stroked her hair while borning her which was lovely.
Apparently couldn't get over the head being there etc. I dont remember so I'm not sure haha.
Then after birth skin to skin in the water then to her daddy cause had a little difficuty with the afterbirth till i stood up so she had skin to skin with daddy while I got stitched up cause I had bad deep tears left and right and I have to say that needle or should I say needles as I had to have one at each side hurt more then the labour itself.
Anyway after optedmfor a shower. After 5 mins felt faint and passed out. Woke up to 8\9 random people in the room. Had to go on a drip and wheeled on a bed to the other room where I was met by my girl and man.
Spent 4 hours total in hospital labour but 48 long hours in esrly + labour.
Was out 3\4 ish that day.
Not bad huh. I love my little princess to bits and she's already so spoilt haha.
