Baby shower!!

Hi all,

My friend is going to be orginising me a baby shower in a few months.

Neither of us have ever been to one though, so I was wondering if you could tell me a few things about them.

What games do you play?

I'm also thinking of doing some goodie bags as a thank you for coming. Just a little nice gesture .. but I have no idea what I could out in them? Any ideas would be great

Hi, my friend did a sweepstake at her's with the due date. Everyone put in a date and time and closest to it won...!
Also, rather discusting but funny, they had metles chocolate bars in nappies, and had to guess which chocolate bar it was.

You pass round a roll of string and have people cut a length of string guessing how big your bump is.

You can get baby pics of everyone and guess who they are.

You can fill a bottle with sweets and guess how many.

You can play pin the dummy on the baby.

I did a baby shower for my big sis i had never been to one before but just made it like a baby related tea party little sandwiches and I made cup cakes with pink n blue icing hobbycraft do little punk n blue edible feet that I put on top n they looked fab.
We didn't do too many games but one was we had to guess each others weight when they were born and the guessing of the due date.
I did balloons and got some baby pics of big sis and her husband n put them out too for people to have a little giggle. Was good fun n she was totally surprised.
