Baby show - this weekend

Is anyone going to this years baby show at the NEC or has anyone been before.

Me and DH can't make our minds up if we want to go or not. We're about an hours drive away and then we'd have to pay the extortionate car park prices at the NEC and we've never been before so don't really know what it's like.

Does anyone know if its any good if you're still pregnant or is it better if you've got babies already????

I went to the one in London a few months ago. It was great and I wish the timing was better so i could go now when I can actually buy stuff (well the important stuff anyway!) Be warned though you will spend money- I wasn't supposed to get anything but went away with a rocking chair, changing bag, organic baby wipes, a pram umbrella- for me not baby, hypnosis cds, bath soaks and lots of other small things!
If you are not decided on prams or furniture and want to see whats out there it will be great cos you can try out all the prams and see more ranges of furniture- I didn't even look at these things which I regret now as I know have no clue what I am looking for and the shops only have a small selection. I filled out a questionnaire on the day and have free tickets for the one in Earls Court later in the year which i will drag my dh to this time and spend more of his money!

me and my friend are going and its a 6 hour round trip for us! Cant wait to see if any of the things i like are on offer there, just hope i can fit it all in the car!
