Baby safe feeder

Hi I was just wandering if it is worth getting one of these feeders. If yes then where did you buy yours from? Also do I have to buy refills and how often do I need to use another refill? I want to start introducing Jake to finger foods but I am worried about him choking as he is only used to soft foods at the moment.

hiya, we have a baby safe feeder as our son is also 6 months old and we have begub giving him finger foods that are safe such as finley grated cheese (healgth visitor recommened that one) i tried him with grated cheese very fine tho and he loves it , they also cant choke on it as it slides down the throat. but with other things such as peaches/rusk/carrots/ etc i shove them in the baby safe feeder its easy for them to hold, allows them to practice chewing moevments and also gives me the satisfaction of knowing he can much in safety - i really recommend it too you hun!!!!!!!!!

With the Munchkin ones you can't buy replacement nets but they are apparently quite hard wearing. The actual baby safe feeders I am not sure how often you need to change but you can buy packs of replacement nets. Have a look at this other question link from the F & N section.
