Can anyone reccomend a good baby monitor?

I got a cheap tixylix one from lloyds pharmacy for a tenner, but it's a bit rubbish really, it makes a nasty fuzzy noise everytime I use it which is really irritating.

I need something which is a little better quality I think, But I don't want to end up spending a fortune, any ideas?

We got a video one on offer at aldi for £60 but that was when i was pregnant but they sometimes get baby things in quite cheap :D

We've got the TOMY Digital Platinum ones, I think... they are really good.

Not had a problem with them yet!

I have got the bt digital one, its fab, no interference and i can hear every noise the little guy makes!

We have the Tomy Walkabout Digital which is great. Don't get any interference, can hear all my son's breathing and general sleeping noises! It also has a room thermometer and night lite on it, and is portable so you can move it around the house with you. Never had any complaints about it, and we paid about £40 for it, brand new from Tesco in a sale, although that was nearly 3 years ago.
