Baby Hair

Evie was born with quite a bit of hair... Around 3 weeks ago, it thinned on top (quite dramatically) and it started to grow back, but has stopped The sides haven't gone though, and the back of her head where she usually lays is OK...

When will it grow back?

If it doesn't grow back, I'll just pray the sides grow a bit longer so I can do a comb over xxx

Maldives posted a similar thread today! Becky was born with a mop of brown hair. Over the course of a couple of months, all bar a little patch on top fell out. It grew back fairly quickly from about 4 months onward and instead of being brown and straight, it's now blonde and curly!

Funnily enough the bit that stayed is now the longest bit and is the same colour as the rest! She went for a while looking a bit like Tintin, though

Calleigh was born with a head full of dark brown hair, as time has gone on it thinned out a bit, then it has grown some more and appears a lot lighter now.

Ivy went baldy too now she gets called Krusty lol EVIL MUMMY! Its started to grow back now I blamed my dad, I think she wanted the same hairstyle as grampy!

Babies grow new hair so any hair loss is only temporary. Its nothing to worry about. Most babies born with a mop lose it fairly quickly.

Galen was born with a mop of black hair and we waited for it to disappear. And are still waiting 5 months later His has stuck around and new growth has come through also. Unusual. He only has a thinned out patch at the back where he lies on it. The top and sides are really quite thick.

Isla has thinned out a tiny bit at the back but the rest of it has just kept on growing!! its longer than an inch at the back now, i'm praying that it doesnt fall out.

on a more shocking note someone told me that their sister actually shaved their babies head so it didnt look stupid

Jacob was born with quite a bit of dark hair and it almost all fell out Anyway, he is 8 months now and it's been VERY slow to grow back, he's still quite bald He must take after his dad in the hair department

lil miss is nearly 9 months old and is still for the most part completely bald People ALWAYS comment on it...

Ella was born with a bit of dark brown hair, which disappeared quite quickly. She's still almost bald now, the hair's coming back very very slowly at the back but on top it looks like she has a receding hairline but because her hair it so light it's hard to see.

kyran was born with a thick black mop of hair, he went very bald on top at about 4months and it was very thin all over. its growing back now but alot lighter and not as thick.
