Baby bubble baths

When can i start using baby bubble baths and oils and lotions etc.

at hosp the midwifes said i shud only use hot water...


surely i can use them now?

when did everyone else start using bubbles/lotions/oils etc on bubba

I was by 3wks but not using too much and only natural products (even now), I find products like Johnson's has far too many chemicals therefore I tend to only use products like Weleda which are chemical free and gentle on babas skin.

i used bubble bath from day one but that's all although I have always used moisturiser after every bath and sometimes baby oil... had no idea you wasn't supposed to???

come to think of it I was never shown or told anything in hospital!

i was told at my ante-natal classes to only used cooled down boiled water for six weeks but i didn't tho

I started from 4wks.... Just use the Simple range first as it has no nasty chemicals

I used them straight away but it irritated his skin so waited then till he was about 8 weeks old and his skin had settled

The Midwife done the same with Harrison so i used them from day 1 & it hasnt harmed him, never had dry skin (apart from when he was born as he was overdue) or cradle cap
