So disappointed .... and so pi**ed off with hubby.
Told him before going Im determined to get something as not everything has to be out of a charity shop or bought off ebay etc.
He came home yesterday from the shops and mentioned there was a(what looked like) a new baby bath in one of the charity shops... had a plug etc for 3 quid and was I interested. I said mmmmm, lets wait and see at babies r us tomorrow.
Anyway, we went to day. In fairness the one near us is a tiny section so there wasnt a great deal there. Anyway, he picked up a baby bath and it was 10 quid.
I then saw that I thought was a great thing... a baby seat that sits inside a normal bath that leaves both ur hands free for washing as baby is fully secure.
It was 15 quid I think?
Anyway, we hadnt seen much else that was worth buying in order to just spend a voucher and that we havent already got.
OH starts going on about no point spending money on a bath when theres one in the charity shop for 9 pound cheaper and there are better things we could spend our money on. OUR money? I have bought f##cking everything so far.
I completely understand he is correct.... but I was so excited at going out shopping that to leave the shop and not have gotten something I was so annoyed and upset. He hasnt taken the hint.
Anyway, rant over. Hope to god the bath has been sold by the time he goes back next weekend. Serves him right
Hope everyone else managed to pick up something nice?

Aw Hun  he thinks he is being economical but it is nice to have some new things

Aww what a shame, those seats are a lot more practical as well, my friend is giving me hers luckily. I did see someone at a car boot today though so maybe you will pick one up somewhere. It's nice to get a few new things though isn't it!

thanks girls. think he is feeling bad as he has spent all evening on the laptop looking at baby things!

we went to babies r us today for this too but OH wants the grey one and they didn't have it  really annoying coz we could have got the 20% off.

does everyone else find that babies r us is a tiny section of toys r us? we went to the croydon one a while back and thought it was small but went to old kent road today and it was teeny tiny :( so we didn't end up using the voucher.

across the road though was the best mothercare i've been into yet and we got a few nice bits which im going to put into the Team Blue thread in a bit. xxxx

Check out amazon they had diff colours for about 100 - 110 quid delivered. About the same saving as getting the discount. Didn't get to buy anything coz of painting all weekend :( Oh sorry bought flooring from Costco, that was exciting .... NOT.
