'Babies behind bars'

It's a programme on ITV2. Anyone else watch it? It's so interesting!

Although I don't think that these women who already have 3 children in care and are expecting another whilst in prison for various reasons for the umpteenth time in their lives for e.g. domestic violence and drug abuse, should really be keeping the next baby.

Very controversial. Definitely worth a watch and is extremely sad in some cases. However I can't help but think 'Maybe you shouldn't have done something to get you into prison in the first place.'. Not really a good example.

I watched a bit the other week, I saw a woman prisoner who was in a horrible looking room full of baby clothes and she had to pick a few for her baby to wear. That made me sad, its no walk in Mothercare is it! But I do agree, she shouldnt have broke the law to end up in prison in the first place and if I'm honest I think I was more sad than she was! xxx
