Wondering if any of you could help put my mind at rest as I'm freaking out at the moment!
I've had a cold sore come up in my nose (randomly, haven't had one since childhood! I think its a cold sore anyway)
I know they're really dangerous for babies and all of yesterday I've been touching my nose and touching my 3mo daughter so I'm terrified she's going to catch it..
Obviously today I'm on high alert with the hand gel and keeping an eye on her as I've realised it could be a cold sore..
Anyone had one and not passed it on? Or has your baby had one and been fine?
Going to call the doctors once they're open...

I totally get why ur concerned, ive also seen storys about babies catching coldsores and it been fatal (not trying to scare you) im guessing youve proberbly already read about it, hence your worry. Hopefully yours wont be a cold sore and if it is theyr usually spread by close skin contact such as kissing. If it does turn out to be a cold sore you can buy those patches to cover and treat it. Im sure baby will be fine. Let us know what your doctor suggests. X
