Babies age?

This might sound like a silly question but at what point do you stop counting a babies age but 4 weeks to a month and go by the date they were born each month?

I’m pretty sure I started with months at 4 ish?

I think I did weeks up until they were about 4months, then I did months up until they were about 2yrs (but to be honest I now say things like 'she's just over one and a half' or 'she's nearly two') x
