Hey girls...

Just a reminder that there are tonnes of baby programs on Discovery health they normally start at 4am.

Theres Babys room
Bringing baby home
Portland Babies
Babes in the wood

Their really good and give u a good idea on birthing and stuff :)

x

i used to watch them when i was pregnant with the others, but can/t watch them now as don't have sky anymore :(

Yeah we watch them also, record them every night.

Aw, big shame they're not on normal TV! Damn SKY!

I love Home birth diarys too. I use to watch one made in america that would come on about 10pm and that was really graphic no covering up

I think Im going crazy!
I could have swore that this topic was called "BARBIE programs" lmao! :rotfl:
Yes Im on a pregnancy forum and thought you were talking about Barbie? Theres just no hope for me! lol

Hubby and I watch Bringing home baby.

I avoid the ones with the actual birth but hubby watches them.

Talking of birth programs why don't they show the lady bits anymore? years ago they used to be eally graphic but now you dont see that... why not? i it too scary??

So do I! :rotfl: God knows how I'll cope when labour starts and I have no idea what to do!!

Brill idea to post this though steelgoddess, I'm sure a lot of women will find them useful.

I'll probably start watching them at about 39+6 weeks  xx

not got discovery health, boooooo !! Instead of nightscreen they shouldhave handy things like this on !! I dont wanna see that midsummer murders is on tomorrow over and over and over at 4am lol

I would really reccommend them if you're a bit nervous about the birth, the reason i say this is because the different programs show you different scenarios of birth and what to expect I can definatly say i have learnt tonnes from the programs and feel a bit less scared...

I will say though that the women that have the epidural seem to look alot more relaxed though like their off to the shops or something and come home with a baby lmao! :rotfl:

does anyone know if theres anywhere on the web u can watch them? we dont have sky and i love those kinds of shows!!xxxxxx
