if u have one...do you find it to be any good?

it seems everyone who gettin good results from expressing are using other brands....

i use the avent one but it seems to be useless! last night i managed to get 2oz and was pumpin away for 10 mins

is that normal?

I did use the one without batteries and it worked but was hard work for my hands so I would go for the battery one everytime and Avent is a good make.

Hi Ebony

When you're expressing try and relax as much as possible and think of your baby to make your hormones help do the expressing! I found i got much more when I was feeding Olivia from one boob and pumping at the same time on the other side.
Also, try and express at the same time every day.

Hi Ebony.....congrats on the birth of your gorgeous daughter!!

Try expressing first thing in the morning, & drink a glass of water before hand. I also used to feed Katy from the other side & found I got loads more!!

It really depends on the person ebony some people express loads and some dont really take to expressing, but it may also be that your supply isnt meeting the demands to feed baby AND express so keep at it and your supply should up in a few days to a week then see...
