I sent Avent an email end of last week complaining that the 5 9oz bottles I use daily have all started to leak and what they advised as to whether we were doing something wrong or if they were faulty.
I had no reply so rang them today on the 0800 number on their website and they apologised and are sending me 5 replacement bottles complete with new teats (the same size as we currently use) and a returns label pre-paid to send the faulty ones back so they can report on the faults.

Am impressed that they didnt even argue and offered to replace them straight away....we were actually considering buying some new bottles at the weekend cos we were so fed up of them leaking but this is at least a better outcome for now!

thats good, iv had problems where bottles leak to, not avent ones though.

That's a great result! :cheer:

There is nothing more galling when you are giving a bottle of expressed milk and it suddenly springs a leak and milk goes everywhere  Don't those bottles know how long that took to get off?!?!?!

I wrote a letter of complaint about my tomme tippee bottles and had them replaced! great isnt it! saves the pennies!

i hate avent now i sent them an email about their bottles leaking and they told me a foagy story that you have to boil the kettle let it cool then put it in the bottles then turn it slowly, they still leaked and i rang them again but heard nothing from them, now i have tommy tippiee

Glad you were given good customer service! I hope these work better for you!

Avent ones leak a bit for me but nothing major - Lydia gets a drop or two on her clothes but the teats are ones she likes and is used to so I just put up with it.
I have heard other people say that Avent ones are reknown for leaking unfortunately.

Mind you, it doesn't make much difference really...my little monkey figured out how to unscrew them a couple of months ago, so every so often she just goes for it and unscrews the damn thing and dunks milk all over herself!
