Well my dad is a professional astrologer and the prediction is in:

Interim results suggest best bet launch on 17th April at around 7.00

More work to do yet but this jumped out of the charts as obvious, perhaps too obvious!!

He did manage to predict the day I was born exactly right so maybe... ?

At least it's another prediction for her coming EARLY!!!! :cheer:

OOOOO

You had better make sure you are prepared for your darling to arrive early hadnt ya!!??

:cheer:

Sounds good i dont have anything planned for that day so i should be around for text buddy duties :D

Just had a further communication from father dearest:

Have discovered 'a window of opportunity' around 2pm on the 10th April lasting three hours. It's much lower probability than the 17th though, and I'm not trying to hedge my bets, but you did ask me to look.

It's a good test for astrological prediction, and I'm grateful for your permission to have a go on this one.

THAT'S IN LIKE 3 DAYS

Oooh, can I take that slot if you don't want it then?
I'm having new carpets put down in the nursery, hall and stairs that day but as long as they were done in the morning that would be fine. They knoe we may have to delay the carpet fitting with short notice :D

I don't think astrology works like that - he'll have used some kind of combination of my natal birth chart with the time and date she might arrive to see the likelihood. MOON-MARS is a common childbirth transit and I think on the 17th it looks like the Moon will be bang on my natal Mars in Virgo so I suspect that's why he's gone for that.

Also, children tend to end up with the same Moon sign (inherited characteristics) as one of their parents. My mum and dad both had moon in Taurus so my dad was pretty convinced I would. 1 in 12 chance but he was right and that's how he predicted *my* birth date so accurately way back in 1980.

Those with MOON-MARS issues (squares, oppositions) in their own natal chart tend to have problems with conception / giving birth. My mum had this and lost 2 babies at 22 weeks. My grandmother on the other hand had MOON trine MARS (a nice pleasant aspect for childbirth) and had 16 kids so I'm hoping labour is OK for me :cheer:

Sorry I wittered on a bit there. Afflicted Mercury dontchaknow :rotfl:

Yeah sorry I went on a bit! I've picked most of it up by osmosis really just by being around my dad but find the birthchart quite a useful psychological tool.

If you don't mind giving away your secrets PM me your date and time of birth (time particularly important otherwise we can't determine your rising sign and house pattern) and I'll check out your moon sign for you.

You by the way are such a typical Leo - when I saw you actually were on Facebook me and my husband laughed because we'd both guessed you were :rotfl:

You'd better have your bags packed just in case!

I think I'm Libran with the moon in gemini and taurus rising
I used to have a book that worked it out for you

hi

I had not read this thread, I wonder if it will come true....x

I dont have moon/mars issues but I do have a square of moon/ascendant and yes I do have a very difficult relationship with my mother ;)

Oooh maybe your dad can help me. I did DD's birthchart by hand when she was born and her ascendant is right on the cusp of gemini and cancer. Depending on what book/program you use it will sometimes tell you she's gemini (what I think) or cancer. I'd love to know once and for all what she *really* is.

Ha ha ha I've done 2 people's charts on here so far and they BOTH had Moon in Gemini. I was just saying to Kalia that Gemini is likely to be a recurring theme on something like the Pregnancy Forum because it's all about communication! :rotfl:

I'm Pisces with Aquarius rising and Moon in Taurus (in the 3rd house which is my gemini link).

I hate my Aquarius rising. Your rising sign is your identity and the way you appear to the world. So people think I am more intelligent than I actually am and they think I'm eccentric. Poor me

Just PM me her date, place and time of birth as accurately as you can and I'll let you know.

Or you can work it out... is she thin and a complete chatterbox or is she home-loving and moody? :rotfl:

ummm interesting  do you think your Dad could predict my Colliers birth day!!

just so i can see if i'll get to wear my gorgoues dress :rotfl:

sarah

How cool!! I tried to do my own birth chart a couple of years ago, by hand, but got soooooooooooo confused with it all that I finally gave up! I did do my chinese one though, but that was much easier!!

If you ignore the interpretations (which are crap) this is a great site for just GETTING the chart - the interpretation section will help you understand what the symbols mean if you're not too sure or you can ask me! It's very important you have the correct time, place and date of birth.
