Can you all help me settle a disagreement I am having with my mum-who I love dearly

Rebecca is 8 months on Tuesday-should she be getting a FULL jar of the 7 month + baby food or half?

I say full, but I do agree it looks a lot, and because it is the 7month stage it has bits in it, so it is stodgy. my mum thinks I should be giving her only half a jar at her age.

Can u shed some light as I dont want to over feed my buba.

BTW she is 75cm and 22lbs-not over weight for her height! Lanky!

Damien has had a full jar of whatever stage he has been on! He is 70cm long and about 21lb (maybe a little more ) He has taken a full 7 month jar staright away, I say feed them what they will take hun xx

Brody has a full jar, I used to give him half, then if he finished it, the other half...then he was finishing it all the time so I give him a full jar right away now.

well harley is having a full jar of the 4monh ones so ild say by rebecca's age a full 7month jar sounds about right

If shes happy eating a full jar i'd say its fine. Aimee only takes half a jar then she starts spitting it out but she only has a small appetite. I give her more if she finishes it but she has never ate a whole jar.

I would feed Rebecca the jar until she spits it out as well. Olivia has the same quantity as half a jar plus dessert but if she ate more I'd feed her it. She's 73cm and 17lbs (she's 8 months old in 10 days time). Does she have finger food? Olivia also eats a fair bit of finger foods when I'm feeding her with a spoon so actually she'd probably eat more if she wasn't eating the finger foods.

It's really difficult when our mums/close family offer their opinions!
