Asda bargains but slightly offended

Righto well I like a good bargain so bought nearly all the boxes of newborn nappies in size 1,2 and 3 this morning in the asda baby sale as well as more baby wash stuff, a disposer of the smelly nappies/bin, baby wipes, more new born clothes etc.....very exciting!! I had a flippin massive trolley full of stuff and at the checkout the cashdesk lady was impressed at how much I was getting and asked I was buying it for a friend!!!! I mean for goodness sake I am nearly 6 months PG now/ 25 weeks and when will people look at me and see I am pG? I was only wearing a semi loose fitting top, leggings and boots....FGS!!

I had that in next! I was buying a babygrow saying I love daddy and I was asked if I'd like a gift reciept! I was pissed off!

Yeah I suppose I should be grateful, I've not been super slim since my wedding nearly 4 years ago but reckon I am still a size 12 now so must be hiding baby in my hip/stomach area pretty well. I know this probs wont happen for babies 2,3? So I should be grateful and quit moaning but still find I do want others to know without me telling them. The postman said something the other day as a joke saying "oh he didnt realise I was PG, just thought I'd let myself go a bit"?!! How rude are people sometimes!! I will hasten to add my dear postie needs to ride his bike a bit more and less car deliveries if you know what I mean! Mmm pot & kettle!!

lol its like ppl are afraid to say congrats in case it offends as your not pg just fat and if they think your probably not pg just a bit chubby and say nothing then they cant win either, best thing to do is just keep their mouths shut and not comment as its none of their business anyway lol

One of my mates said that if she didn't know I was pregnant, she'd think I'd just got a bit fat lol! I was like 'Thaaaanks... so to all who don't know, I just got fat'
Though another friend had someone ask if she was expecting when she wasn't, she wasn't best pleased at all! I don't know which is worse to be honest.. xx

after all, if i said to someone when u due and it was for a friend id want the ground to swallow me
