Arrgh Mealtimes!

Daniel is getting to be a pain at mealtimes. He just keeps throwing his food on the floor, tipping his plate upside down,etc etc. It's not that he doesn't want to eat it - he does eat it. He just thinks it's a game

Do your little ones do this? Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm pulling my hair out! life was so much easier when I spoon fed him - you think you've cracked it then the next step comes along - arrrgh!

willow does this all the time tbh i dont know why i bother even putting it on a plate.

It's normal and yes it's annoying, get some plastic underneath the high chair and leave him to it, don't react to it (very hard I know!!) but ignore the bad behaviour and praise him when he does eat something I don't often bother with a plate, give Isaac anything with no lid and he has to tip it, its a way of them learning too so I guess its just something we have to live with until they're over the tipping phase Or buy those plates that stick to the high chair Very best wishes, hope you don't get too upset about it next time
