Hiya guys

I haven't had the best week and have let the house go to pot  Tbh for the most part of the week I haven't had time and then from the weekend I've been in no form :(

I didn't think I was so far behind until I saw how much washing I have to do

I think I'm on my 4th-5th at the minute plus I've got 2 loads of the lo's plus 4 of ours plus the beds will need doing tomorrow :wall:

So please think of me and my 10+ loads

How much does washing cost to get done in the launderette?

Sorry but those eyes

 If you were any closer I'd sneak in at night and wash it all for you... reckon you'd notice me taking the sheets off the bed?

How are you drying it all with our weather Mamafy?

Simple febmum...wash it, tumble dry it; wash it tumble dry it  At this stage of the game if it shrinks it shrinks so long as its clean

I need a laundry fairy to visit too...we dont have a tumble dryer either. I think its laundrette time, it can all go in at once!!

It's not going very well Carly, one load to go in dryer and one load to go in washer

I so cba today, was going to go to town but cba with that either :wall:

I must get cracking though

IM the same, OH will be home for lunch in an hour and havent washed up anything yet. Havent looked at the laundry and supposed to be sorting out material for curtains in our new sitting room but dont want to leave hte house cos Im waiting for hospital to ring with results of my glucose tollerance test. you'd think with me staying in Id get loads done...NOPE

Tiny I'm in all day every day near enough, the only time I leave the house is to go to the local Lidl if there's something I want or go shopping in the car with the OH or go to the disabled centre where I volunteer. So you would think I would get loads done too, I'm the same, nothing or hardly anything gets done. Although my mum has told me several times that I shouldn't rest too much, it's my first baby and I just want to try and balance stuff, so I make my OH do pretty much all the house work, including the washing lol

awesome plan!! My OH has been really good recently, he's just getting on with the washing up, usually I do all washing up from the day when i get back from work (on the 3 days I go to work), clean the kitchen, then cook dinner, we eat together and then I clean the kitchen again and wash all the pans. I just dont have the energy to do that these days so the kitchen is getting really horrible, and then I dont wanna cook in a dirty kitchen so I just sit there mustering hte energy. My OH has been getting up and washing up before I cook without being asked. I think he does it when he's hungry! But I feel guilty and so when I have bursts of energy I try and get stuff done. I just washed up (from about 3 days worth) and cleaned the kitchen and put laundry on and folded the dry stuff off the drying racks. I opened a few windows too so the place feels cleaner even though Ive not hoovered or anything! lol. Now I need to sit down but Im still in my PJs and wanna have my shower! maybe I shouldve done it first...Im so disorganised in my thinking these days!

These threads are great, if we talk enough about what needs doing we might do something

Well in between my last post I've got another load of washing done so the washing is all nearly sorted :yay:

Plus the kids have had their lunch and they're settling down with full tummies so they should give me peace for half an hour so I can get everyhting else done.

I've done the morning dishes and lunch dishes and I've actually scrubbed my kitchen worktops and the tiled splashback behind :D

wow, very impressive!! Ive got all the dried laundry down, put a load in and now its out drying (please dont rain!) theres more laundry to do but cant do it as Ill have nowhere to put it to dry at the mo. Its a great excuse! I cooked poached eggs on toast for lunch and strawberries. I washed up everything but not the lunch stuff. Still need to hoover & dust and change the bedding but my back is hurting so Im gonna sit down for a bit :)

gahhhhh, just got up to take stuff off radiator and see if they're dry so I can get another load done before OH gets back, and he's bloody turned off the heating while he was home for lunch!! I heard him say how hot the house is, and I said yeah, Its not been on long, Im dryng clothes. Well I thought he'd left it. Wondered why I was getting cold. DAMNED MEN!

Lol Tiny, it's normally me who messes with the settings on the heating. Since I was last on here, I've washed some pots, and in a short while, I'll be starting dinner, you see that's the only thing that my OH can't actually do, he can't cook very well. Have to teach him I suppose, can't see me bending over to get stuff out of the oven in a few months without actually having to sit on the floor first lol.

We only live in a tiny 1 bedroomed flat at the minute, so it's actually not that hard for us to keep it in reasonable tidiness. As for drying washing, we have a somewhat rather weird little room(not big enough for a bedroom) that houses the meters and boiler, so we put the clothes horse up in the there and the clothes are dry within a few days, we also have the washing lines outside, but the weather ain't so good around here lol

glad your a bit more sorted hon!
i've done all my housework/ironing/washing today - x2 loads + maddi's bed - but we've had a lazy pj day and i did want to go out (could of down with a quick supermarket trip/mothercare) but i've just felt like staying in today, maddi's loved it, we've done colouring/puzzles/bricks all day!
