Hope its ok to post in here, sometimes the baby/toddler bit seems quiet.

I've finally decided to be realistic... I think i will need a double buggy. Although i intend to use a sling/carrier i just don't think its going to suit every occasion. Ill have a newborn and an approx 21 month old and these are my personal stipulations for a pram in an ideal world

Prefer not to have side by side - my local shops are so cramped I've struggled with a single
Toddler must be able to see out properly- i can see him throwing a fit otherwise
Newborn must be able to face me
Really would love option to use car seat but it must be compatible with an isofix base

I feel like my stipulations are leaving me with options that are too expensive or... I just havent noticed all the options. Id love to pick up a second hand one this time for budget reasons but im finding even second hand can be very pricey so i must be expecting too much. I'm out a lot so at the moment my 19 month old still naps fairly frequently in his buggy, i don't think he will be ready to walk all the time or use a buggy board.

Icandy peach ( i think baby may be able to face me if in car seat?)
Duellette 21 double
Hauck duette
Icandy orange (i didn't like this when i saw it in the shop) the sales assistant pointed out how front heavy it is with a toddler in front (for curbs etc and it was even when empty!)
Uppa baby Vista

Do you have any other suggestions that meet the criteria...especislly carseat?

I think the city mini select will do your job too. One of the other December mums has just bought an icandy and the seats seem a big snug for her toddler.

I will have a baby and 2.5yr old who doesn

Thanks that's such a good option. Ill try and get a second hand one. Actually seems less complicated than the uppababy Vista if converting a single. I've found a perfect one locally but unfortunately its purple which isn't grear for two boys. Even a red one would do!!

I have a purple pram for my boy, I think it is a unisex colour.

Sorry that was no help to your question though! I have an egg, which does convert to a double but I think it leaves the baby forward facing. Not really looked into it as I only wanted it as a single.

I will have a baby and a 2 and 7 month old. She only really goes in pushchair for naps or if out for the whole day so have just bought a buggy board and stop her napping in it... but worried about not having the option of her going in a buggy when I’m alone with them but don’t want to spend money on something that I won’t actually use for long. Hmmm

I am going to need a double buggy also, as my two year old doesn’t walk places very well .. (runs off mainly!) ha ha, buggy would mainly be for school runs so don’t want to spend a lot, and didn’t want one underneath on the floor.. they do a good option in the same travel system I have. The joie Jemm, (spelling) it’s a larger chassis and the toddler seat is in front and you can clip car seat on. So I think we will just get that. X

Yeah its such a tough one. I think my son will throw a fit if he can't see so the city select double is looking like a brilliant option with so many configurations. There are an abundance of second hand ones but seem to all be South of England and not many willing to package for a courier.

I cant decide about the purple... I don't care myself, but at the same time I don't know how many comments I can be bothered hearing. Funnily enough, I wouldn't think twice about red.

looked into changing the fabric if I got this used purple one... and its not really feasible/affordable.
