I keep worrying about Jake picking up an infection but a few people have said to me that they are meant to be immune for the first few months of life and I wast wandering if this was true as my baby has been around kids with really bad coughs (croup) and colds.

my little girl caught a cold and a cough a couple of weeks ago but it clears up on its own so dont worry hun. see your hv if you get worried

I think if you breast feed theres i added immunity, if you bottle feed then babies immunity is lower, thats what the midwife said to me anyhow. XkelX

it doesnt matter what you do hun, children get sick and thats how their immune system strengthens, they have to get ill so they can fight it, its worrying when the are poorly but it takes babes a shorter time to get over it hun

yeah dont worry too much about coughs and colds jakob has a cold at the moment and all it will do is stregthen his immune system so in the long run a little cold is good for them ;)
