anyway to tell if ur still pregnant?

is there anyway to tell if ur still pregnant when u have no symptoms and feel normal?! lol
my symptoms have kind of gone now, i just feel really rough in the mornings. would there be any point in doing another test?!!!

Hiya,

Dont think a test would confirm anything anyway because the hormones stay in your body for a while and then they reduce at some stage so either way it might not work and might frighten the life out of you unneccesarily. I feel the very same, I have very mild symptoms. just occaional mild nausea, and tiredness and they could both be in my head Think we just have to be positive and wait for scan, mine is on Monday do you have a date for yours??

yep, but mine isnt until the 17th july..
so 3 week(ish) yet.
i have midwife appt on wednesday for my blood tests and that,, would there be no way of telling then?

I am exactly the same. I have no symptoms except being really tired.
I have my scan on Tuesday so just got my fingers crossed!!

Im feeling exactly the same!! Not really had many symptoms, mainly just tiredness too. Ive been thinking about doing another test as well but ive already done 4 and i think my DH would go mad!!

He keeps telling me to relax and enjoy! I dont have my 1st scan til the 27th July - think i might drive myself mad with worry by then!!!

imagine having your own machine and u can have a nosey when u feel like it!

That would be wicked! You can hire those Doppler machines to detect heartbeat can't you? Not sure when you can detect it from though, I think a bit later on

I work in a tyre factory and some of the boys use ultrasound on the tyres to check them, might nip down there and stick my belly in the way and see what comes up

HGC levels increase until about the 10th or 11th week, so take another test. That should put your mind at rest

I feel exactly the same. I'm SO glad I'm not the only one worrying about this!

I've had no nausea or sickness at all. My sore boobs have gone and I'm not even that tired. I guess I should be grateful and enjoying it, but I keep worrying instead. There's no pleasing some people!!

My scan is on 23 July, when I will be 13 weeks. It feels like such a long time...

when i go for my dating scan, im not gonna be exactly 12 weeks, i think ill be nearly 11 weeks. does that not matter?
i dont wanna change it cos i want the scan asap!

I am going to be ten, they put me back two at the first scan so if I hadnt had that I would be nearly twelve going by my period. I told my GP to inform them but they obviously didnt, I cant bring myself to say anything because I really want the scan I have read somewhere that this scan can be done between 10 and 14 weeks. You'll be ok a few days wont make any difference

When i booked my scan I think they said I had to be between 11+4 and 13+6. I will be 13+1 so fall in their restrictions. I tried to get an earlier scan but this was the earliest date available. I think it varies from place to place... Maybe they are tight round here and do everything possible to only give you 2 scans?!!

Its like waiting for christmas when I was 5 years old!

i wont meet my midwife till im 11 weeks so wont have the scan until ages after i would imagine!

My scan date came straight from the hospital, and i had this before i had even had a letter confirming my first appointment with my midwife.
So i was 12 weeks when i saw the midwife and i will be 13 weeks next tuesday when i have my scan!!!!!!
It makes no sense!!!

Thats not very good, I didn;t think they could give you your dates that early!!!
I am so frustrated that I have know for 6 weeks and only heard something from my midwife this week.
I think the whole system is wrong.
But hey ho I'm not the government. They are trying to close our maternity unit, which would mean you would have to travel over 40 minutes to he next hospital pathetic if you ask me.
When you go into labour, oh hang on hold it in until you get to hospital 40 mins away!!! Oh yeah that will happen!!!!

Yeah same happened with me, I had a scan at 9 weeks and means I gotta wait until 20 weeks now for another scan. Dont forget you can ask midwife to see if she can find babys heartbeat at your appointments
