I work, and I am 4 weeks now. I dont know when I should stop working. I will definetly after delivery, but was thinking that if I get any stressed or tired from work, I will just resign. Thank God DH has a great job and there is no need for me to work.

Has anyone stopped working? or planning to stop after delivery?

Hello

I'm stoping working too. I have had a really fabulous career, and am really happy with what I have acheived to date. I'm lucky too as hubby earns a very nice wage, enough to keep us very comfortable without my wage. I am really ready or the family life now and would like to focus on being a Mum for the next few years, idealy having 3 under the age of 5. This is my first so if our plan works out it is going to be very hard work, but I am fully prepared to slog it out. I'm totally excited by the challenge. My darling husband thinks I should take maternity leave as soon as possible (at 6 months) so that I can enjoy some free time before the baby comes.

When do you think you will stop working and how do you feel about not going back?

Becs xx

P.S Congratulations by the way!!!

Thanks for the congrats!!! :)

Actually I was thinking of leaving at 5 or 6 months along! But later then I said that I will deliver in summer time and at that time I will be taking my annual leave as well.. I am entitled to take for leave 40 calendar days and for maternity 45 days. So I was thinking of taking them and resign at the same time!! Then I woudl earn both months, if you know what I mean... But it really doesnt matter.. I think you are thinking wisely by resting before the baby coming! You will have time to shop for the baby and even prepare yourself for the new life you are having..

this is why i ask these questions.. I wana get answers and analize what I was thinking of.. and now thinking about it.. I think you are right and I am definetly taking it into consideration.. who knows!! I might stop sooner than expected!! And with a baby at home?? who cares about job! I am not into coming back anytime soon..! I am really focusing on having all my kids together and then raising them :)

GOod luck

Sounds like we are thinking along the same lines. I think it's a pretty jammy position to be in and am not going to take it for granted!

I finish at 6 months as that is the earliest I can leave and still get my full maternity package. I have to say I haven't decided about coming back or aI won't get my full benefits.

Can't wait to announce it:D :D

Good luck hun!!

I am gona investigate here at my company if I am entitled to get maternity leave before delivering the baby.. let's see
