Desperately need advise!
We are raising our second litter of 4 kittens. The two girls are eating, drinking and occasionally feeding from mum. The two boys refuse to eat or drink and will only feed from mum. They're 6 weeks.
Any ideas? I've tried water, kitten milk, kitten food, chicken and fish. The girls love it all but the boys refuse and they're getting skinny xx

Aww my cat had 5 litters! but all ate n had no problems.
If u cnt find any advise on vet websites u may have to pop to vets or give your local one a quick call. hopefully they wobt charge
maybe try rspca website? xx

I would see a vet hun as they should be eating more, baby cats have to learn how to chew so they will try to suck at all food its a case of sitting with a bit of mushy cat food on your finger and making them suck it off a bit at a time. If they won't takew from mummy cat you may need to dropper feed them xx

 Fapatalking

I sat last night for an hour trying to feed this fishy milky (kitten milk) mush to them and they licked it when I rubbed it on their mouths but it was such an effort. I'm gonna take everyone to the vet on Thursday when OH is off anyway to have them wormed and flead so we shall see what she says.
The boys just feel so skinny compared to the wee chunky girlies :(
Here's a wee pic as well in case anyone wants to Awww

Awwww sooo cute

Its tough work hun I pipette fed a kitten ( just one ) and goodness it was like I was murdering her lol! Just takes perseverance but sometimes you need help! Fuissy boys eh will they suck it up from a plate at all?bowls are hard for them to do so little flat plates are better they will make a mess tho tee hee

Can you hear them sucking or are they trying to chew? What colour are their gums, pale gums mean they are lacking in vits etc

Xxxxxx

Also hun the wetter the food the better, literally runny as you can get it. Xxxx

If they are still feeding off of mum then they will be less hungry for other food. Separate them from mum for a couple of hours and then offer them some food and she can top them up afterwards. They are still very young at six weeks so don't worry too much, give them another couple of weeks and I'm sure they will be eating more solids.
