As the title says really - and would like to share what happens and any success stories? My baby has consistently been in the breech position for at least a month now - I have such a sore bump at the top where baby's head is. I've been trying all the inversion moves to no avail...I'm very short so I feel like maybe it's stuck?! Due to my short stature I'll be having an ecv at 36 weeks if it hasn't turned by then. Xx

have you been on spinning babies hun? they tried one with me with my first but it didnt work i didnt have enough fluid

Hi nikki :) yes I have been on spinning babies. My oh has a laugh in the evenings now as I regularly have my bum in the air one way or another!!! Is that why you had a cesarean then if you don't mind me asking? Xx

my first was for alot of reasons lol he was breech, low fluid and i had pre eclampsia and he was a really small baby. its completely your choice if you have the ecv but i wouldnt go through it again but yours might be better than mine was. some babies turn very last minute so you never know

Hi, I had one and it was absolutely fine. I was very scared going in, I'd googled too much I think! The consultant tried to turn baby but my stomach muscles were too tight so I had an injection to loosen things up! Then they managed to turn baby. It was uncomfortable but not painful in the slightest. I then went on to have a natural birth. I would do it again to avoid c section. When I went for my first ecv my baby had turned itself so it wasn't required! Next week she was breech again so I went back. It was my second baby so think there was more room for her to move. This was at about 38 plus 5!! Good luck!! Xxx

How far along are you?

My baby has been breech, transverse, breech, transverse and FINALLY head down today at 34+2. I had been panicking about ECV and section but felt baby turn on Saturday night; it actually woke me up! Movements felt totally different after and MW confirmed head down today.

There's still time. Have you got a birthing ball?

Thanks for your replies. I'm 33 weeks now. I have a birthing ball and have been using it a lot. Really hoping baby turns itself soon but I have a feeling it's not going to - it has literally been in the same position since I could feel where it was. Hope your baby stays head down piglets mama xx

Have you considered moxibustion?

No one has ever mentioned the position of my baby or checked. Hiccups have been low down the last day or so. I feel pushing under my ribs a lot (feet??). I still get kicking to the side but I guess he could just be more on one side than the other. I really haven't got a clue what the various lumps are.

I had an ecv but it didn't work and had an elective c section back in November. I can honestly say it was a positive experience and wasn't even half as bad as I had imagined in my head. I was absolutely gutted when we first found out our little man was breech too xx
