anyone know where i can get a rag doll?

My sil thinks my niece would like a traditional rag doll for christmas. we had lovely ones when we were little but i cant seem to find any online - anyone know of any online places that might do them?

I know they used to do them at Hamleys...got my daughter one afew years back... good luck :D

I still have Jemima (my ragdoll from when I was small). My mum made it for me. What are you like with a needle and thread? - shouldn't take long for you to knock one together, and it'd be more personal.

tracey thats a lovely idea but i think i would terrify the poor child if i made one - would look like Frankensteins monster with my sowing abilities :lol:

have just sown 6 loot bags for alex's pirate party and those are striaght seams and they are still crocked as a dogs hind leg! if anyone mentions it i will just point out that they are meant to look like pirates sowed them and its hard to sow with one hand and a hook!

thanks for the ideas girls! wanted one like the holly hobbie as they were lovely - modern ones arent as pretty. might get the upside down Jellycat ones. where its say dorothy one way up and the wicked witch the other way up.

I bought my nieces ragdolls from the early learning centre last year.
