Anyone had a 4d Scan??

Hi all,

Ive just booked in for a 4d Scan and im quite excited im almost 30weeks - so have been told i need to have it done asap!

was wondering if anyone else has had one and if you think it was worth it, as i no they are not cheap but my mum is paying for it as an early Xmas pressie!!

I had mine at 30w6d and it was amazing ! Def worth the money although I got it free

I had mine at 29+6 and it was incredible- def worth it! xx

I had mine at 28 weeks and nearly 29 lol. The first time round it was a bit disappointing as he wouldn't move his hands away from his face. We got a free go and he was so uncooperative lol and the second time was fab. It's definitely worth it. Amazing experience.

I had mine at 25 weeks 3 days, My dad bought me mine as a gift

We got lots of photos and had such a lovely experience. We were told a lot about her e.g. we were shown her kidneys, heard her heartbeat, saw her heart chambers, saw her brain etc and we also checked that she was definitely a she! They're a lot more informative and special than the scans you get at the hospital, I definitely recommend it. xxx

wow, thanks guys!! It sounds amazing. I surprised my Husband with the appointment, after he had a bad day at work and he is so excited. my Mum, sister and brother are also coming, so should be a wonderful family experience
Fingers crossed he wont awkward like he was for the hospital scans lol

ive heard you are suppose to eat chocolate and drink lucozade before the scan - i assume to get them moving abit more, did anyone do this??

U drank a bottle of lucozade and had a wispa about 30 mins before and he was awake

Wow both of those video clips are gorgeous!! I really cant wait now So cute....
i will try a can of pop and some chocolate and see if it works...any excuse to eat chocolate!!!

Awww how lovely, you'll all enjoy it so much!
My boyfriend, mother in law and my parents came to my scan, it was such a special moment seeing her on the screens in front of us all.

I drank a fizzy drink before I went to mine and she was in a perfect position. She was sleeping when we started but then she woke up from all the poking and prodding xxx

Will you be going to Window To The Womb?? If so try not to go on a Sunday! We did and they was so busy and had so many naughty babies in, it didn't turn out to be a good day for us! I've been told its much better and less busier on a week day! Enjoy hun x x

i did want to go to window to the womb...But when i rang they seemed very busy and didnt really help that much on the phone with my questions So have booked with Miracle in progress In Loughborough (as parents are in Leicester - so its near to all of us) And they were really nice and helpful on the phone

I had mine done at 28+6 wks with my son and it was worth every penny, was amazing. I had excess fluid too so the video was sooo clear
