Anyone else waiting for the BIG ENERGY BURST !!

Hi Ladies, Hope you are all doing well

Thought id ask you about this "big energy burst" i should expect towards the end of my pregnany?? I have heard a few people talk about it but im still waiting ........................ xxxxxxxxxx

Oh Kirsty... I'm not near the end yet but I don't believe it exists or if it does - only for some women! that said you may find as the weather gets nicer you have more motivation.....

another myth- morning sickness only lasting the first 3 months.. oh and the morning part! well and truly fed up of people saying 'I never had morning sickness' if you are one of these peoples don't tell me!

It's not an energy burst as such, it's more down to the fact that to have a baby at some point there needs to be a man in your life and that means everything is left to the last minute and the only one likely to do anything constructive is the heavily pregnant woman.

My husband has had nearly 8 months to decorate our house - living room nursery and bathroom....... lets just say the only room that is done is the bathroom... unfortunately now the bug has finally taken him we have the least amount of money so everything will have to be left till then end!

I hear ya hun. I said to my OH we needed to decorate before Christmas cos otherwise I might not be able to help.. So he started it 4 weeks ago , ok it's been done in time but I was sitting on the sofa surrounded by stuff looking like an earthquake victim and he was stressing out shouting at paint pots lmao

the next two months I HAVE to find energy regardless of whether it's there or not! ARGh even in it's current state I just want bubs here already! (to be fully cooked & here) I don't think I can wait another 9 weeks- seriously I am starting to get the ball rolling at 37 weeks like it or not Noah you're being born!

I'm 38+1 and can honestly say I'm feeling FAB - best I've felt since morning sicky time in 1st Trimester!!!!! So much so that I decided to work another week - finish this Friday, with 1.5 weeks to go!! I don't fancy the thought of being at home with nothing much to do, though maybe I should make the most of it?!?

So much so that I decided to work another week - finish this Friday, with 1.5 weeks to go!! I've been feeling fab too. Finished work last week and I could have happily worked on. Since I've been off, I've scrubbed the house from top to bottom, gutted the garden and cut the grass etc and sorted all the washing/ironing etc. after today I'm gona b bored cos I've nothing else to do lol.

lol these replys made me laugh, heres me thinking id wake up one morning soon with a big energy boost ! sounds like il be waiting a long time then.............. i suffered bad with morning sickness, MORNING NOON & NIGHT !! my OH has been great, I think he has OCD when it come to cleaning. Maybe il get my energy from watching him i was told id be wanting to get up in the middle of the night and want to walk for miles ???? dont get me wrong i have my good days and bad days but not my energetic days

YES! The past week ive had endless energy! I've managed to get stuff done that ive been meaning to do for months! It feels really good cos ive had such an energyless pregnancy! x

maybe because im still working full time im not feeling the energy burst but once my maternity starts il be able to feel it more and gets things done ! ?
