The dietician at the hospital recommended we change from prescription formula to alpro soya 1+ for our dd who is nearly 18 months (she's lactose intolerant).
Since she's been on it, all she wants is milk (its a lot sweeter than the formula), her sleeping is worse and she won't eat properly. We always offer the food first and try to stick to regular bottle times.
She gets really quite stroppy if she doesn't get her milk!!
Whereas before, on formula, she had a healthy appetite and had come down to 3 bottles a day (which she often didn't finish), she is now having 5 bottles, is grumpy a lot more and has a serious pig out every 2 days or so.
Just wondering if others had experience of alpro soya 1+ and whether you think this is just another feeding 'phase' or something I ought to get in touch with the dietician about?
Thanks in advance, Nicola
