Anyone else really thirsty and have a weird taste in their mouth?

For the last couple of days, I've had a horrible dry mouth with a weird taste plus I've felt really really thirsty. I was diabetic last time so I'm wondering if I am again. Anybody else feeling like this?xx

Not me, but I've heard the metallic taste in your mouth is normal. Maybe give your midwife a call about the thirst if you had GD last time

I'm drinking a lot more water (gone off juice) not sure if that's cause I'm more thirsty or because I keep having horrid hot flushes. I agree with Wednesday.. I would speak to your midwife.

I had a metallic taste in my mouth before I found out I was pregnant and read that that is a key pregnancy symptom but not all women experience it.

The last two evenings I've felt really thirsty. Not yesterday evening but the evening before I drank a whole huge carton of orange juice in not even an hour. I just felt so dry mouthed!!

I have had an unquenchable thirst for the last few weeks and have also had strange tastes in my mouth too. I had the same when I was pregnant with my first too.

Yes I'm so glad I've just seen this post!! I'm constantly craving a drink and sucking on boiled sweets to keep the horrible taste at bay. Seem to be craving salads and fruit rather than stodgy food! It amazes me what growing a little bean does to your body xxx

Me too. I feel like I have cotton mouth. Also my lips are very dry. Drinking more water than ever but it doesn't make a blind bit of difference.

It's so weird isn't it? There's literally no drinks that i fancy drinking either!xx
