Hi everyone,
I've been a relatively long term ttc'er (I wouldn't say I'm strict every month and I've had a lore laid back approach over time) but only started temping this month. I use FF as a way to track my cycles in general and they always seem to be 27/28 days clockwork --- leaving my predicted ovulation at cd13 and the days leading up to that are part of my fertile window. I used to use clearblue sticks now and again and always managed to get a smiley face whenever I used them and always assumed ov would happen that day or the day after tops.
Upon looking into this current cycle with regards to my temps it has had it down as ovulation day on cd15! I had absolutely no idea I'd even possibly of been ovulating that late due to me only having a 27 day cycle and bar for this month I don't think I've really even dtd on cd15 due to exhausting my oh out from cd11 onwards. Do you think that this could be a possibility of me having struggled ttc no2? He does have slightly low morphology so I'm really going to hope that now over the next cycles I can try and time dtd a little better!

If you have a 27 day cycle but a 12 day luteal phase you could definitely ovulate on day 15. I find it hard to tell...your temp can go up anywhere between 24 and 72 hours after ovulation. I think mine takes 3 days. I have same problem with OH getting exhausted after cd12 so we have never managed it after that. I am also concerned I could be ovulating on day 15. I tend to go by the CM though...once it goes sticky then you're probably not fertile. Also ovulation can occur 12-36 hrs after a pos opk and I've also read 48 hrs after too. So it could be 2 days after a pos opk.

What day do you get a pos opk? If it's somewhere between day 13 and 15, you could always go for days 11, 13, 15 or days 12 and 14 to dtd.

Also I don't find FF that accurate. Ovia gives me a different fertile window!

I find the temping thing a bit daunting at the mo as it's my first month doing it so looking at the bbt graph just makes me go cross eyed! On the handful of times I've used clearblue sticks it's been a smiley on day cd13, I only used 3 sticks this month so I'm unsure as to whether the opk would have been right. I tested on cd13 morning with a blank face and that same afternoon with a smiley face that stayed on the stick for a few days. It's so difficult to really figure out by feelings what day you ov too, I had slight ewcm from cd13-15 but nothing major. I felt more twingey on 14/15 though in fairness. My bbt temp on 13 was 36.2 c
Cd14 36.2
Cd15 36.3
Cd16. 36.5
Cd17 36.7 ----- It has remained at 36.7 until today when it dropped to 36.6. FF has put my ov as occurring on cd15. It's all confusing to me tbh lol. Hats off to those ladies that have been temping or a long time as I feel a bit fed up of it and I've not even finished a cycle yet lol. I also downloaded Ovia but it didn't pinpoint ov for me bar for entering it manually?

I think Ovia highlights your last fertile day in green. Without seeing a graph I can't get a sense of if your temp has jumped to luteal phase. Looks like it may have jumped on day 16. Depends on the temps for the prior 6 days. There are some great books on all this I can recommend if you are interested. It does look possible that you are ovulating between days 13 and 15... Doing it eveery other day is meant to be a effective, especially if your other half is tired. I would definitely aim for after day 11..that seems a bit early.

This book is excellent. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Taking-Cha...8&qid=1485798081&sr=1-1&keywords=fertilityYou might wanna skip the gross photos of CM though ... she went a bit far for me!

This is good too, though not as detailed https://www.amazon.co.uk/Impatient-...e+impatient+women's+guide+to+getting+pregnant

From your chart it's probably between 13th and 15th and possibly even 16th as you still had ewcm, and more likely toward later end. If you read 1st book, your charting will be more accurate than an app.
