Hiya! We've been ttc for just over a year with pcos and I'm going on my third cycle of clomid soon. At the moment I'm on provera to kick start a cycle as the 2nd round of 50mg didn't make me ovulate even though the first did. So I'm going to be having 100mg this time! Fingers crossed everyone xx

Well I woke up at 4am bursting for the loo and as much as I tried to roll over and go back to sleep I couldn't do it. I took a clear blue and a first response and set my timer for 3 minutes while the hubby tried to distract me. I was absolutely convinced that it would be yet another negative test but when I flipped them round I was greeted with a second line and a 'Pregnant 3+'!!! Cue both me and my hubby bursting into tears and sitting for the next hour staring in disbelief at the tests. I even did a third test and watched the second line come up just to check I wasn't going mad. Hold in there girls, we will all get our babies! Xxxx

Hey May_lin, what is fermara? I have not heard of it. I am cd 21 of a 28 day cycle. I start reflexology tonight which I am hoping can only help. I am not having scans although my fertility doctor has said he will start next month. I am overweight but have to say this has not even been commented on, the fertility doctor just said it was unlikely my weight was causing the problem!

Hi KeepHoping Femara is a fertility drug prescribe by my doctor as she told me clomid may not work on some people.... I was on clomid but it don't work for me for my 1st cycle.... Me too i am overweight as well she needs me to exercise more lol.... But i feel this is not the real main problem too i have a girlfriend she weights like 100kgs++ but she is pregnant too... Best part is she doesnt plan for it.... I visited the clinic today to see my folicles and i have a very promising egg , doctor said it is a healthy size **Happy** but it depends on the sperm now.... hehe.... Will update my progress.... Good luck on your next month lotsa babydust for you......

So upset, I'm out again for this month and to make things worse I also got my 21 day results back and discovered I only had a 21mml. I don't think this is enough to signify ovulation, can anyone advise? I am on 100ml of Clomid and my doc won't increase to 150ml. Is it possible I will still ovulate on this dose? Help!

What month of clomid are you on KeepHoping? I didn't respond on my first month of clomid but did after that, it takes a little while to build up in your system xx

Hi Unicorn, I have just done month 2 which was my first month at 100mg, do you still think there is a chance a could respond?

Yeah absolutely, 21 isn't awful on a 21 day blood test so you may have even ovulated this month! See how you get on next month and if things still haven't stepped up maybe have a chat to your doctor about femara instead? xx

I took Fermara and have 1 nice formed egg, Have not tested yet waiting for my AF... Try to ask the doctor again... My doctor said to me before some people they dont respond every month with clomid or fermara but its not the end yeah... So if this month you are out just try next month... Nothing is impossible.... Try taking centrum women daily it has multi vitamins and folic acid in it...
