Anyone else on CLomid?

Hi everyone, Is anyone else on clomid? looking for some hope to keep me going! I don't have PCOS but am not ovulation properly, essentially my progesterone level at day 21 is low although it signifies ovulation it is not high enough to sustain a pregnancy. Anyone else in this situation? I am currently on day 17 of a day cycle and my second round of clomid (100mg days 2-6) I didn't ovulate properly on my 1st cycle which was only 50 mg. Its only so complicated and confusing!

Hi keephoping, I've just had my BFP on my 4th round of clomid I don't have PCOS but don't ovulate properly either! I also didn't respond on my first month but did from the second onwards! For the past 2 months I have also had progesterone in the second half of my cycle to maintain my uterus lining! I hope that gives you some hope. Good luck xx

OMG that really does give me hope thanks! I still have CM post what I thought was ovulation (ovulation was a little painful this time strangely) I am day 17 now and I think I ovulated on day 14. Do you know if that's normal?

I got pregnant on my 3rd round of Clomid with my LO in 2011, but this time around I haven't been as lucky as I've had 7 months (6 rounds) of Clomid and no Bfp

I'm on CD 4 month 19 and have an appointment at the fertility clinic tomorrow morning so I'm hoping he can prescribe more Clomid or Femera
I do have some Clomid left over that I haven't used but I'm very dubious about taking it without having a scan and bloods so I'm waiting till after tomorrow and if everything is ok on my scan and bloods but he still says I can't have anything else I will consider taking the left over Clomid I think, I'm just desperate now

Anyway just to let you know it does work it has for me and most women it does work so try to stay positive and I hope to see your Bfp on here soon!!

I am on my second round of clomid (I have lean PCOS - meaning I have the cysts and hormone issues but not the other typical symptoms such as weight gain and acne) I am on 100mg and didn't ovulate the first month (day 21 was 1.8) but this month was 75 apparently it can take a while for your body to get used to and respond to clomid. I feel like AF is on the way but I'm still hoping this month is the month. Good luck xx

We were extremely lucky and caught on our first month of clomid. We weren't expecting it but I think that's because after trying for so long we couldn't imagine ever getting our bfp. Are you getting any scans or just bloods done? I never got scans, just bloods, and turns out the dosage I was on was a bit more than I needed as we're expecting twins

That sounds totally normal, although you may find that you ovulate earlier when you start responding to the clomid! I found ovulating painful for the first time this month as well! Good luck xx

ah Hopingforbabyf that is awesome, only bloods at the moment and my first round on clomid showed levels too low and under 30. i'm now on 100ml and defo felt pains round ovulation. I am really confused though as I thought ovulation was on day 14, but now on day 17 I am still getting EWCM. I'm concerned my hormones are still not right . starting reflexology next week as well to see if that will help! I am willing to try anything at this point.

I am on clomid for the 1st cycle and my gynae change me to another medication "famara"... She told me clomid sometimes may not work on some people.... Are you working on something with your doctor currently??

I am speaking with a fertility specialist who keeps putting down my no ovulation to stress, high pressure job etc (which is frustrating) he is confident that clomid will work and if not told me to go private for IVF (there is a 3-4yr waiting list for NHS IVF)

Anyway KeepHoping never give up ya... Try to consume some vitamins and folic acid when TTC... I believe baby is on the way we all must be patience.... This is my 2nd cycle of trying so hope everything goes well for me.... Baby dust for you too!!!!!

Thanks May_ lin let me know how you get on. Good luck! My boobs are so sore this month but it's only 6days post ovulation and they are often sore after ovulation. I am terrible for symptoms spotting!

KeepHoping i always felt the terrible part is the "waiting procedures"..... For me now i just passed my AF and taking "fermara"-another medication beside clomid for 3days now. I really cant wait for another scan on monday(23Nov) to see my folicles and start my BD plans lol.... After which dpo days again..... wait wait wait.... Pls update yours too !! Hope you get your BFP real soon....

Hey May_lin, what is fermara? I have not heard of it. I am cd 21 of a 28 day cycle. I start reflexology tonight which I am hoping can only help. I am not having scans although my fertility doctor has said he will start next month. I am overweight but have to say this has not even been commented on, the fertility doctor just said it was unlikely my weight was causing the problem!

Ok so my day 21 test showed I did ovulate. I know it happened on CD15 as I had Mittelschmerz pain and a touch of hyper stimulation. So two weeks go by and no AF, I think oh well I've heard clomid can lengthen your cycle a little so it must be on its way. It's now nearly 17 days since I ovulated and nothing. I had mild cramps on and off from 10-14dpo and on day 14 I was sure it was coming but that has stopped now. Getting pregnant just seems so impossible, I don't want to believe it could have worked and then be heartbroken again but the logical side of my brain is telling me it's more than possible that I am. Sorry if I'm rambling the just wanted to get it out
