Well probably irrelevant post sorry!!! But being 18 weeks preg and worrying about offers coming in on our house and then attempting to sort out a mortgage to move up the ladder is all getting quite stressful. They have offered less than we would like but as things are at the moment seems we have to just lump it and hope than we can just about stretch ourselves to up our mortgage to move on at a time when I will be earning less on MA!!! Thing is as this is baby number 3 and we are in a small 2 bedroom its got to be done at some point!! Stressed and very tired from worrying xxxx

Hope you manage to sort this hun, prob easier said than done but try not to stess too much. big hugs xxx

I moved twice when pg and that was only renting but that was stressful enough! Look after yourself and try not to get stressed out as best you can. Good luck , hope everything gets sorted! Remember if it gets a bit much, come and let it out on here :-) x

Well during the first pregnancy (6 months preg) we bought this one which took 14 months to make habitable and we only just moved in two days before Christmas which was two months before baby 2 was born (only 13 months between them). During this time we lived at home with my mum and 3 younger siblings!! To look on the bright side it can't be as hard as that was when OH was the one never home as was doing all the work single handed!! lol xx

We did it with our last baby, we were suppose to be moving into our new house two weeks before due date, but baby came early, and builders were running late so moved in 6 weeks after he was actually born, was quite stressfull having people looking round our old place once baby was born and then sorting mortgage etc but thankfully hubby did pretty much everything, I just had to say yes and no to what kitchen/bathroom I wanted etc. was so worth it. Not ideal, but needs must, the six weeks in our old place with a baby really made me realise how badly we needed a bigger place. All the best whatever you do, just make sure u have a supportive family/partner to do everything! X x

Yup!! Last time I was pregnant we sold our flat, this time we're buying a house (having moved 5 times in between!).

At our nct classes the teacher said there's always someone moving house or doing major building work!

I just sold my two bed bungalow which we have spent thousands of pounds and nearly three years getting it the way we wanted it ( fully stripped out and re wired, plumbed and new heating system... Not to mention the av system and plastering throughout) we are now about four weeks away from moving into a three bed house that basically hasn't been touched since the 70s we are just lucky we made enough money on our bungalow ( and knocked 20k off the asking price of new house) so we can pay someone to come in and do some of the work for us as oh can't do it all by himself and I now have a job where I work 50+ hours a week plus being pregnant isn't exactly the ideal position to be when wanting to do DIY ! Our bungalow took us 9 months to make liveable thankfully this one needs a little less doing to it but even so I guess all of us expectant mothers seem to like putting ourselves under pressure my mum and dad moved whilst my mum was pregnant with my older sister and then again when pregnant with my younger sister ..... It must be the done thing ha ha!

Currently planning to sell our old house in the downtown. I'm already very stressed as my knowledge at this area is very poor, trying to follow this guidance https://www.yeshomebuyers.com/private-house-sales/ properly and I guess I won't cope with the deal by myself. I'm thinking about hiring an agent - may be a good idea, they could look for buyers while we're busy working, could also arrange all the docs and prepare everything for a deal.

I’m a conveyancing lawyer and trust me it happens all the time! People are heavily pregnant and just moving!! We haven’t moved whilst pregnant but renovated and put an extension on was enough!! Ha ha good luck all xx

I've always rented but just bought my first house - I'm 6 months pregnant and the offer was accepted on Friday so fingers crossed all goes to plan and I can move in before baby is born (I'm homeless if not as my current landlord won't allow babies in the house I rent). House needs a makeover but I guess I will have to do a little bit at a time. It was extremely stressful just finding somewhere (especially with my current rental issues).

I'm also moving to the other side of the country lol

I really don't envy you at all. I started a new business at 9 weeks. Now 20 weeks and it's just about starting to break even so fingers crossed.

Really hope all goes well for you. Xx

We are part way through a sale and purchase, but it's been going through since before I even conceived! We accepted our offer in October, and put an offer in for our new house the same week. Complications at the top of the chain have massively stalled things, but it is possible it will be next Thursday (I'm not holding my breath!).
Hope all goes ok for all of you crazy enough to be going through this! x
