Anyone done IUI with clomid?

Hi ladies

I’m due to have IUI with clomid next month. Me and DH been TTC no2 for 2.5 years with no success. All test results have come back normal so I’ve been labelled with unexplained fertility.

So we decided to give IUI a go as it was suggested. Has anyone had the IUI with clomid?

What was your experience?

A question I forgot to ask was do you still continue to have sex normally or do you just have the IUI done that window?

Hi

They tried to give me clomid with my IUI but I over responded so ended up having a natural cycle. (I have PCOS.)

They did a trigger shot so I ovulated at the right time (I remember one time getting pains whilst waiting in the hospital - they were like intense AF cramps and didn't last long).

We were told to abstain from sex for 2 or 3 days before the trigger I think (they told us when to stop) so his sperm was the best it could be (even though he always has perfect sperm...).

Sadly it didn't work for us but it was quite straightforward and IVF didn't work for us either so think we've got bigger issues. Good luck xxx
